The photo above is of my family at the coast a few years ago.  Not only have I always had a love for photography but raising four children was the main reason that I wanted to learn and excel in the photography business so that I could provide for them as they grew and started their own families.  A year after graduating from Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, Georgia, with a degree in business management I decided to try and make a living doing photography as a sideline business and within just a few months was able to open my first studio location on November 8, 1973 in Americus.  After 12 years of operating my studio my wife and I decided to move to Tallahasse to be closer to family and I basically started all over again.  Tallahassee has been a wonderful home for us and a great city to raise our children.  So now with 30 years behind me in Tallahassee I am still working to create beautiful portrait work for families to enjoy for their lifetime.  Thank you for visiting my website and if I can be of service for your professional photography needs, please give me a call.    Richard
